Nestlé Continuous Excellence (NCE) is the most important transformation initiative Nestlé has undertaken since its foundation, more than 150 years ago. With the leadership of José López (Executive Vice-president of Operations), NCE was born with the aim to transform the company's operations.
The case delves into the model and strategy José López established to successfully implement the initiative that revolutionized the way people in the organization worked. It also describes the scope of this model beyond the area of operations. By 2016, Nestlé could be considered a "Lean Enterprise."
