Grupo Agro Sevilla facing the challenge of the north American Market

Agro Sevilla was established in Andalusia in 1977 as a second degree cooperative and by 2017 was one of the largest producers, packers and exporters of olives in the world. Since 1994 it has been the leading Spanish exporter in the sector. On 22 June 2017, the two main American companies involved in the production of black olives, Musco Family Olive and Bell-Carter Foods, filed a complaint with the US Department of Commerce.
