The BBVA Chair for Family-Owned Business was created in 1994 as a part of San Telmo Business School. It aims to research and elaborate development training activities focused on the features and the specific problems of these type of companies. This Chair will help family-owned businesses to face some of their own challenges: succession and conflict of interests between the family and the company.

The BBVA Chair for Family-Owned Business is completely consolidated after more than 20 years of commitment, attention, research and study.
