New edition of the Executive MBA of San Telmo Business School


Almost fifty participants start a new adventure in their management training

Today is the start of the XXXV class of the Master Program in Business Management, Executive-MBA, of San Telmo Business School. Almost fifty participants initiate a new stage that will boost their professional career. More than 95 % of former students occupy management positions ten years after graduating from the Executive-MBA.

The General Director of San Telmo Business School, Juan Pérez Gálvez, opened the inaugural event telling anecdotes about his personal experience in the same classrooms as the participants. Additionally, he presented the vision and objectives of the Business School: To ensure that, through the training and managerial improvement of businesspeople and executives, they make fair and effective decisions that influence positively the society and generate greater wealth.


 

On the other hand, Professor Joaquín Aguirre Berruezo, Director of the Executive-MBA, presented the master's degree objectives. He emphasized that, thanks to the Case Study methodology, the participant will face a wide variety of business situations and contexts, only possible to be acquired after many years of professional experience.





As usual in the inaugural event, the current Director of the Class, Carmen Hernández, introduced one of the former students of San Telmo as guest speaker. On this occasion, it was Rafael Alcaide Castilla, Vodafone Territorial Director of Andalusia and Extremadura. The telecommunications engineer, who achieved the Executive-MBA in 2010, said that passing through San Telmo Business School added a very positive value to his professional career. During his speech he recalled that despite a great deal of personal and family effort involved during a master's degree of this characteristics, the learning, directors, tutors, classmates and teachers made it worthwhile.
