A new edition of the ADEL Program began yesterday at San Telmo Seville’s headquarters, where a number of top entrepreneurs and senior managers from southern Europe have gathered.
The Program is addressed to senior executives of leading companies and institutions. From San Telmo Business School, loyal to the mission of contributing to the economic and social development of our surrounding area, we develop this program as a forum of strategic reflection, organized and focused on the present context.
Professors from San Telmo taking part in the first block program were Bartolomé Alarcón, Miguel Ángel Llano, David Moreno, Fernando Faces, Antonio García de Castro and José Luis García del Pueyo.
As special guests joining different round tables and conferences were important people like Laura Ros Verhoeven, General Manager of Volkswagen Spain, Soraya Sáez de Santamaría, Partner from Cuatrecasas or Professor Juan Martínez Barea.
The Tuesday and today sessions were for reflection on Digital Transformation for businesses, responsible and prudential leadership, the post-COVID-19 economy or the future of retail, among other subjects.
Protagonists of the case studies taking part in the sessions were in detail: Antonio García Carmona, General Director of ECILIMP, S.L. and Javier García Pérez-Ainsua, Director Termosolar ECILIMP, S.L., as well as Felipe Granados Casals, General Director of GRUPO JOLY and Rocío Mesa López, Digital Transformation Director of GRUPO JOLY.
Respecting the round table entitled "Post-COVID-19 Economy", participants were delighted with Prof. Francisco Ferraro García, Prof. Fernando Faces García, Prof. Juergen B. Donges from Germany via the Zoom platform and the Minister of Economy, Rogelio Velasco.
In addition, the future of retail was discussed with the Chairman of DNEXT RETAIL, Dimas Gimeno Álvarez; Ismael Clemente Orrego, CEO of MERLIN PROPERTIES; Manuel Domínguez de la Maza, CEO of MAYORAL; Rosa Madrid Racero, Andalucia Regional Director of CBRE, and San Telmo professor Antonio García de Castro.
During all sessions of the program, ADEL participants will analyze new business models in order for them to take full advantage of the niche market segments offered by a mass market, in which new technologies are changing consumption and distribution patterns.
