Professor Laguillo has more than 25 years' professional and teaching experience in the fields of economics and finance. In the field of economics, he is a specialist in macroeconomic analysis, in the economic environment of business and in the application of different methodologies to adapt business strategies to different economic, sectoral, social and political scenarios. Within the field of corporate finance, he has specialized in the development of financial distress and bankruptcy prediction models for companies from within different economic sectors, as well as business appraisal. He is an honorary professor of finance at the University of Malaga.

In addition to his teaching role, he has practically developed his entire professional career in the financial sector, occupying different positions of responsibility in different areas of financial management, highlighting those related to investment and divestment in the capital of companies (listed, non-listed, large company and SME) in a wide variety of economic sectors, as well as in the value management of said investments. He has been a member of the Board of Directors / Steering Committees of several companies.
