Engineering entrepreneurs and executives. Their contribution to Andalusian society.

On September 21 and 28, an incredibly successful round table was held in offices of Instituto Internacional San Telmo in Seville and Malaga, respectively, that tackled the subject “Engineering entrepreneurs and executives. Their contribution to Andalusian society”. During the event in Seville,  Antonio Ortega Ruiz, Founder and President of AND & OR, and Manuel Losada Friend, Chief Operating Officer at Isotrol took part, whilst in the event that was held in Malaga, addresses were given by Rafael Domínguez de Gor, President of Mayoral and Antonio Gómez-Guillamón Manrique, co-founder and Managing Director of AERTEC Solutions. Furthermore, Antonio García de Castro, Managing Director of I. I. San Telmo acted as moderator in both events.

The attendees were able to, through the experiences and life lessons of the speakers, delve deeper into the skill set needed for engineering management and engineering entrepreneurship, and the roll to be adopted by the latter in the coming decade. In this way, the discussion centered on how to profit from this historic opportunity to eradicate unemployment in Andalusia, one of the major scourges of recent times in our autonomous community that runs the risk of becoming chronic if suitable solutions are not found for today and tomorrow’s concerns.
